Second in the series. Well worth the wait. Our Outlanders continue in their quest to return to the real world and get out of this online game. There's multiple stories that dovetail into one overreaching arc that is two immortal brothers fighting over Earth and its inhabitants. If you've ever played an MMORPG and wanted to see what it'd be like to enter that world, get this series. Love, Loss, Lust, Blood, Death, Life, it's a bumpy ride and doesn't really slow down much. While I've read book one, I think the author did a fine job of giving enough backstory at the beginning to allow you to have this as a stand alone read. If Not, know that the book centers around a group of folk that are playing an MMORPG, get sucked into the game and must find a way back. Their Avatars have not only the skillsets provided by their class, but the knowledge and skills of the real person inhabiting them.Product details

This is an excellent sequel to the original Lost Lands novel and it keeps the story moving forward while raising the stakes. I waited a long time to find out what happens next and the author delivers with new characters, more world building and more mayhem. I'm looking forward to the next novel in the series and hoping they all end up on Audible too with a good narrator that would be epic enough to buy it again!
